When I fell and dislocated my little finger on my right hand, I panicked a bit, thinking I wouldn’t have anything to play at my next concert, so I composed this piece.
Fortunately, I recovered quickly enough to play, but still this piece became the opening piece at my next concert, symbolizing how life can lead you down unexpected paths.
